Goverment Grants resources


Avid through its faculty development grants program management invites faculty from all Avid mentor schools to submit proposals financial aid /scholarly or artistic activities work.

Who may apply to check eligibility?
All full-time faculty members in Filmaking, TV Production, Broadcast Journalism, Digital Media, and Visual Arts programs and employed at Avid Mentor schools for the 2007-2008 academic year are eligible.

How much money?

Avid Faculty Development Grants may be for any amount up to $10,000 USD

When?
A new application time period will be announced in Avid grant as well as what should be included in the grants proposal.


Delaware North Companies, a leading global hospitality and food service provider, reported that it is offering 2 new scholarships (in honor of the Jacobs family) for students to attend The Culinary Institute of America (CIA).

Who may be eligible?
The grants are available to students from Sierra, American River, Sacramento City, Cosumnes River, Delta, Feather River, Woodland and Yuba colleges.

Important!
The grant is renewable each year the student is enrolled as a full-time student with high grades.
