National Endowment for the arts - New guidelines for Grants for Arts Projects (GAP)

National Endowment for the arts helps art organizations to explore available funding opportunities.

How? Just by clicking on the artistic discipline or field listed, which is most relevant to your project.

Individual grants:
Although most areas funding is limited to organizations, direct awards to individuals could be made through the followings:
  • Literature Fellowships
  • NEA Jazz Masters Fellowships
  • NEA National Heritage Fellowships in the Folk & Traditional Arts.

There are new guidelines for Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) who have been published by NEA so you should be reading them carefully before applying for grants.

Deadlines:
  • Access to Artistic Excellence - March 10 and August 11, 2008.
  • Challenge America Fast-Track - June 2, 2008.
  • Learning in the Arts - June 9, 2008.
