Greater Texas Foundation- Education grants

The Greater Texas Foundation will consider making charitable contributions to Texas-based non-profit organizations that are:
  • Tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Support/provide specific programs targeting education in furtherance of Greater Texas Foundation's exempt purposes, mission, and vision.
In general, following programs will be supported:

  • Outreach for Higher Education
  • Teacher Skill Enhancement and New Teacher Preparation
  • Scholarships Programs for Higher Education
  • School-Community Partnerships
  • Improving Math and Science Education

How to apply for The Greater Texas Foundation’s grant:
  • Given that no grant applications are accepted unless the request begins with a successful Letter of inquiry (LOI) -you must successfuly send LOI to determine whether the foundation’s present interests, guidelines, mission and funds permit consideration of the request.
Letters of inquiry are accepted throughout the year.
